However, the melodic beauty is remarkable, and together with the religious pieces, they are a wonderful collection of works that express the essence of Liszt in all its glory. Liszt also revised his own compositions in various forms, so there are several different editions of well-known pieces. The famous \"Petrarch Sonnets\" included in this first collection is one such work. Casual listeners are often confused by the completely different melody. Austrian-born baritone Elade, who made his debut in Britten's opera \"Billy Budd,\" is a virtuoso singer who has sung at the Vienna State Opera and other opera houses around the world.His extended, lustrous high notes and deep expressiveness have made him a favorite of many conductors.
