Welcome to the forbidden world... Mr. Bangle, the avant-garde metal band led by Mike Patton, who had a miraculously successful tour in Japan earlier this year! The band released three legendary albums on Warner Records between 1991 and 1999, all on analog vinyl, in a luxurious 6-CD analog box set called "QUOTE UNQUOTE 1991-1999". What started as a death metal project has since expanded into heavy metal, avant-garde jazz, ska, and even disco and funk, while voraciously incorporating a variety of styles,Mr. Bangle is an experimental metal band/avant-garde metal band that continues to spit out its own sound while breaking down all genre barriers in every direction, and has garnered praise from eccentrics the world over. Led by Mike Patton, a prodigy who presides over his own label Ipecac while acting as frontman, the band just made a miraculous tour of Japan in February this year and thrilled their fans who had gathered there.After signing a contract with Warner Records in 1990 following the success of Faith No More, also fronted by Mike Patton, the band released three albums between 1991 and 1999. These three albums, which have such a strong personality and impact that they are now considered "legends", are now available in a 6-CD analog box set, "QUOTE UNQUOTE 1991-1999"! DISCO VOLANTE", the second album released in 1995,The third album, "CALIFORNIA", released in 1999, was the last work for Warner Records, and is a legendary work that is truly unique in the music scene of the 90's. Each of these works is recorded on a 2-CD analog set that uses gatefold packaging. The box set "QUOTE UNQUOTE 1991-1999" contains these three albums (a total of six analog discs) in a luxurious silver foil box. Each album contains remastered/remixed recordings by Scott Hull based on the original mixes.It should also be noted that "DISC VOLANTE" and "CALIFORNIA" each contain one additional song of previously unreleased material.
