He is a highly individualistic composer whose style, which is generally dismissed as minimalist music, is, however, quite different from that of American minimalist composers, and is rich, fantastic, and joyful. Unfortunately, in Japan, Rabinovich-Barakovsky is often thought of as a pianist who played with Martha Argerich, but this CD, in which Argerich also participated on many occasions, should help you to appreciate the wonderful charm of Rabinovich-Barakovsky's music.CD 5 is the works of others played by Rabinovich-Barakovsky.
