Chamber Ensemble perform this \"slimmed-down\" concerto rhetorically, with an almost epic grandeur, and the chamber music style does not lose the sense of scale of the original work. Despax's 2013 recording of Chopin's \"24 Preludes\" (SIGCD482) was also highly praised by the French magazine Diapason for its poetic rendering of every detail based on a thorough study of the score, so one can expect great things from this Chopin performance as well.The Chineke!
