This is his first vocal album, recorded on cassette in his home between 1977 and 1985, in the midst of political turmoil. The music, as well as the birds chirping outside the window, the creaking of the piano bench, and even the movement of Emahoy's fingers as he pressed the record button, are recorded in an extremely intimate manner, creating a sense of presence as if Emahoy were playing alongside her. Emahoy herself dreamed of releasing this music to a wider audience until she passed away in March 2023.
