She taught at the Royal College of Music (RCM) for 44 years and was a major artist with Decca for 20 years. This reissue, transferred and remastered by renowned engineer Andrew Halifax, includes her first solo recording for Decca, a 1941 recording of Debussy, as well as her acclaimed performances of Scarlatti, Faure, and others.
