International Harvester, nicknamed the "Scandinavian Amondur" for their anti-imperialist sound and resistance to the environmentally destructive Western culture, is now available for the first time on CD from their enigmatic live shows in their heyday! The most important Scandinavian psychedelic band International Harvester's unreleased live recordings from half a century ago are now available on CD in paper jacket for the first time in the world! The item was originally released in 2018 as a limited worldwide analog box of 1,500 copies and quickly disappeared from the market. Three of the five discs in that box, "Remains 1-3," are now available on CD! This work "Remains 1" contains performances from three shows in Stockholm in 1968, including an improvisation on the theme of the first title track "Goodnight Rosemary". The vocals churning in a bewitching groove, the wildly floating effects and distorted guitars, and the unknown atmosphere of half a century ago come back to life in this live recording, which is of great significance in terms of delving into the trajectory of this important band that has been shrouded in mystery for much of their history as a major player in the history of Scandinavian psychedelic rock. The sound sources that have been sealed away for half a century no longer have a precious meaning as recorded music, but rather as preserved air.A very valuable release for the history of Scandinavian psychedelic music, beyond the music itself! The master was restored and remastered by Anders Lind of SILENCE from a cassette tape. Includes an interview with Tomas Tidholm (Vo, Horns).
