This year marks the 50th anniversary since their debut in 1972 and the release of their first album "Sadistic Mika Band" on May 5, 1973. This is a rare video work of the second phase of the reunion with Karen Kirishima as vocalist. The members are Karen Kirishima (Vo), Kazuhiko Kato (G, Vo), Rei Obara (Ba, Vo), Yukihiro Takahashi (Dr, Vo), and Masayoshi Takanaka (G). The album "Tenharu" was released in 1989, including the hit song "Boys & Girls," and the legendary April 9, 1989 concert held at Tokyo Bay NK Hall for two days only was recorded in support of the album. The video was beautifully restored from the original video master using state-of-the-art technology, and the sound was also carefully upgraded. The DVD version features greatly improved quality.
