He dances and sings all over the stage, sometimes with a lick of his tongue, and sometimes with a bit of a smile on his face.Mustafa is a villain by nature, but in Esposito's hands, he becomes a very lovable uncle. Isabella is prepared to do anything to save her beloved Lindoro, and eventually attracts Mustafa's attention by singing and dancing in a bathing suit. Golichova's style is heavenly (opera singers these days should not be as large as they used to be). The role of Lindoro is played by the remarkable tenor Cie Iger.
