Description:

Neil Innes of the Bonzo Dog Band and Rattles, who passed away at the end of 2019, finally released his masterpiece solo debut album on CD in 1973 after the breakup of the Bonzo Dog Band! In addition to the 11 songs from the original album, there are bonus tracks: single mixes of "Thrash" and "Lawlinson's End" from the last Bond Dog Band album released in 1972 under the name of Neil Innes, which are arranged differently from the album version. A single version of "How Sweet to Be an Idiot" and its B-side "The Age of Desperation," and three singles released after the album's release in 1974 and 1975, "Recycled Vinyl Blues," "Rye Down and Be Counted and "What Noise A Noise A Noisy Oyster" and their coupling songs, for a total of 10 tracks.Participating musicians include Ollie Halsall (g), a member of the Rattles, Andy Roberts (g), a colleague of Grimes who was working alongside him as a solo artist at the time, Dave Richards (b), Mike Kelly (ds), formerly of the Spooky Tooth, and others. Commentary: Masato Wakatsuki.
