Both Canal's \"Jade Flute\" and Chrétien's three songs are world premiere recordings.\n\nMezzo-soprano Kitty Waitley, with a lustrous voice, studied in the U.K., where she won the Kathleen Ferrier Award, among others, before joining the Verbier Festival Academy; from 2013 to 2015, she was a BBC New Generation Artist, appearing at the BBC Proms and commissioned new songs.In addition to performing with the Berlin Philharmonic and other major orchestras and giving recitals, operas, and many other activities, she is also active in supporting women musicians as co-founder of \"SWAP'ra\". Edwige Herschenroeder studied with Eric Vidonne and received instruction from Malcolm Martineau and others at the Royal Academy of Music Graduate School in London.
