Dedicated to his teacher, Eugène Gigueux, it was acclaimed by critics of the time as a brilliant Frank-influenced organ sonata. The \"20 Organ Pieces for Church Service,\" a collection of preludes, interludes, and postludes, was published in 1908. Dedicated to Father Matthias, organist of Strasbourg Cathedral, six pieces from the collection are presented here.
