While working mainly in Zolotrun and conducting local orchestras and choirs, he was widely active through performances of his own compositions and also devoted himself to music education. His third opera, \"Casanova and Albertoli,\" is based on an episode related to a Swiss national holiday, and is characterized by an ambitious style that incorporates folk songs from the Ticino region and yodeling choruses, in addition to rich Puccini-style melodies. Fleury was extremely busy at the time, so his friend, composer Eduard Fabre (1872-1946), helped him orchestrate and complete the work, which was premiered in 1938 with great success. The overture and other major numbers were frequently broadcast on the radio, and the work became widely known as one of Fleury's masterpieces. In this recording, the Swiss Italian Radio Orchestra led by Diego Fasolis and the singers bring out all the charm of this work.\n\nNaxos Japan\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Toccata Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50865319837985,"sku":"4589538819088","price":37.0,"currency_code":"CAD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4589538819088.jpg?v=1742718764","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/en-ca\/products\/4589538819088","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
