Joseph Wölfle was born in Salzburg. He studied music with Leopold Mozart and Michael Haydn and became a pianist, but his popularity fell after he \"dueled\" with Beethoven at the piano in 1799 and lost, and his popularity declined, so he went to Paris and lived a second life in London from 1805 He was to live a second life in Paris and then in London from 1805.
