Prokofiev is now available. Prokofiev's two violin sonatas and the unaccompanied violin sonata were written around the end of World War II, from 1944-47. The first is impressive for its melancholy from deep lamentation and the rise of inner passion, the second has a slightly lighter lyricism and humor, and the third is a piece with the influence of Russian folk dances. The second sonata is a somewhat lighter, lyrical and humorous work, and the third sonata is an unaccompanied sonata with a hint of Russian folk dances. Gretel sees them as musical masks created by Prokofiev and succeeds in characterizing each work. The album features Heifetz's arrangement of \"The Mask,\" which gave the album its title, and the famous \"March.\"                                                                                    Naxos Japan\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Fuga Libera","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":45748798357793,"sku":"4589538738563","price":30.0,"currency_code":"CAD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4589538738563.jpg?v=1689246558","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/en-ca\/products\/4589538738563","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
