Watch House (formerly Mandolin Orange) is a male-female folk duo formed in 2009 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina by Andrew Marlin, a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who plays mandolin, banjo, organ, bass, and drums, and Emily Franz, a violinist and guitarist. Their debut album, Quiet Little Rooms, was released in 2010.In 2011, he released \"Haste Make\/Hard Hearted Stranger\" and later signed with Yep Roc and released \"This Side Of Jordan\" in 2013. The band gained popularity for its superb Americana sound, a mix of bluegrass, gospel, folk, and country. After an extended tour, he consistently released \"Such Jubilee\" in 2015, \"Blind Faller\" in 2016, and \"Tides Of A Teardrop\" in 2019.
