Alisa Zubritsky was born in Moldova in 1982 and is a pianist who studied in Paris and Lyon, and also studied vocal accompaniment at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Since 2011, she has been the voice coach at the Bastille Opera Studio, where she is considered the most knowledgeable pianist in the field of singing. Her debut album is a collection of piano pieces based on songs, but it is not a conventional selection. Notable are Max Reger's arrangement of Richard Strauss' \"Morning\" and Giloti's arrangement of Ravel's \"Cadish,\" but there are also arrangements of Poulenc and Rachmaninoff by her, as well as a request from organist Jean-Baptiste Robin for an arrangement of his own. Also, Granados' \"Lament, Macha and the Nightingale,\" a gem from \"Goescescas,\" is not the usual version, but a pianistic inclusion of the soprano part from the original opera. It is also as expected that the opera ends with Schumann's moving \"Dedication\". The exquisite singing and flowing melody line is a masterpiece that no one can imitate.
