From the latest LP by SATOSHI of the Japanese new age synthesizer playing duo SATOSHI & MAKOTO, KUNIYUKI TAKAHASHI remixed an edit by Soichi Terada and a collaboration track (SATOSHI & MAKOTO KUNIYUKI, BENEDEK) that was not included on the LP! YOUNG MARCO, an influential DJ/selector/record digger from Amsterdam, Holland, discovered this track on YOUTUBE, and soon DJs, artists and collectors from all over the world responded to it, making it the biggest hit on his SAFE TRIP label. Satoshi of the brother duo Satoshi & Makoto released "CZ-5000 SOUNDS AND SEQUENCES" and its sequel "CZ-5000 SOUNDS & SEQUENCES VOL. The label has been in operation for more than 20 years and has released albums by Luke Vibert, Eddie C, DJ Nature, and Henry Wu (aka Kamal Williams), among other international artists. The long-established soundofspeed label has released albums by Japanese artists such as Ogawa & Tokoro, who debuted on Kakubarhythm, and the northern treasure, Kuniyuki Takahashi. In March 2023, the long-established label and Japanese artists attracting worldwide attention released "AMBIVALENT (SELECTED WORKS 1994-2022)".The LP is soundofspeed's compilation of Satoshi's treasured recordings from 1994 to 2022, and Terada has recorded "Coastlines," an ambient electro house track with a catchy melody and warmth, Terada also features Benedek and Yuki Kuniyuki, two synth/modern boogie artists from West Coast LA, whose work has appeared on labels such as Peoples Potential Unlimited (PPU), Leaving Records, and L.I.E.S. Records, the most important low house label in Brooklyn, New York. This collaborative EP is a sequel to "New Dawn" featuring Benedek and Kuniyuki, and features Kuniyuki's new interpretation of "After New Dawn", a track not included on the LP. Terada's edit of "After New Dawn" is a unique house track that expands the positive and light dance music appeal of the original song. Kuniyuki then provided two versions of the remix. Version 1 is a beatdown version that melds the ambience and beautiful world melody that Kuniyuki possesses.Version 2, with its percussion, piano, and dubby guitar production, is a tear-jerker that forces you to suppress your tears.
