The strings are also attractive with their detailed and lively expression.\n\nThe Japanese government commissioned works by R. Strauss and various composers for the 2600th anniversary of the Japanese Empire. The list of composers included Britten, who composed \"Sinfonia da Requiem. However, due to the word \"requiem\" in the title, the work was not performed at the ceremony in Japan, and was premiered by the New York Philharmonic conducted by Barbirolli in March 1941. ≪The \"Spring Symphony\" is the second work commissioned by Koussevitzky (the first was the opera \"Peter Grimes\"). The work, a wonderful mix of traditional English folk songs and poems, depicts the gradual awakening of the natural world as winter leaves and spring begins to triumph.\n\n(King International)\n\n\n\nContents\n\nBritten(1913-1976):.\n\n1. symphonia da requiem op.20(1940) 【録音:May 7,8,2019\n\n2. spring symphony(1948-49) 【録音:2018年9月16,18日】.\n\n3. introduction to orchestral music for youth (1945) 【録音:2021年5月18日\n\n\n\nPerformers\n\nSir Simon Rattle, conductor\n\nLondon Symphony Orchestra\n\nElizabeth Watts (soprano), Alice Coote (mezzo-soprano), Alan Clayton (tenor),\n\nTiffin Boys' Choir, Tiffin Children's Choir, Tiffin Girls' Choir (James Day, conductor)\n\nLondon Symphony Chorus (Simon Halsey, chorus conductor)\n\n\n\nAll recorded at the Barbican Hall\n\n\n\n(SACD Hybrid)\n\nMultichannel\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Lso Live","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":48321099268385,"sku":"822231183020","price":131.0,"currency_code":"BRL","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/822231183020.jpg?v=1710564198","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/en-br\/products\/822231183020","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
