The 3rd album from Norway:Vertigo, one of the most famous progressive rock bands in Norway in the 70's along with POPOL ACE/RUPHUS etc., was released in '73 and newly remastered and digisleeved by Norway:NorskeAlbumklassikere. The album was reissued on CD in '22 in newly remastered/digislive format from Norway:NorskeAlbumklassikere. The album shows some glimpses of the hard rock style from the previous album "Loaded", but also shows the influence of the British rock bands of the same era through the variety of song ideas and more dramatic song development. This is one of the most progressive rock albums of the 70's. The rhythm section provides the driving force to the band. While the rhythm section provides the same driving force as in the previous album, the keyboards/organ/guitar section runs along lightly, yet cleverly maintains tension at key points, and the use of acoustic guitar accents the lyrical expression, This is truly a gem of Norwegian/Nordic progressive rock from the 1970s! The master is a newly remastered recording based on the Norway:Universal distribution master. 14
