Norwegian folk-rock band formed in 1972 with Morten Bing (mandolin/dulcimer), Eilif Amundsen (banjo/b/g), Jorn Jensen (g/voc) and others, and called "Nordic SPRIGUNS" for their musicality, The '75 album, released on Norway:Philips label, has been reissued on CD in '22 by Norway:Norske Albumklassikere in a newly remastered/digi-sleeve version. The band's debut album in 1974 was reissued on CD in '22 by Norway:Norske Albumklassikere in a newly remastered/digi-sleeve version. The arrangement of familiar instruments such as fiddle and lead instruments is skillfully added to create a strong ensemble with a strong and crisp sound that is well worth listening to. This is an excellent work that is similar to British trad/folk rock, but also makes the most of Scandinavian melodies that are unique to Scandinavia. The popularity of the previous and next albums has made it easy to overlook this album, but it is just as good as those two in terms of content! The master is a newly remastered sound source based on the master distributed by Norway:Universal.
