Since then, they have recorded two live albums, \"Alone Together\" (Blue Note) in 1996 with Lee Konitz as a trio and \"Live at Birdland\" (ECM) in 2011 with Paul Motian in the trio. This is the first time the trio performed as a duo, and was recorded on stage at Christ Church in Mannheim in 2007 as part of the Enjoy Jazz Festival in Germany. This work allows the audience to fully enjoy the dialogue between the two musicians as they melt into the austere space of the church.
