Along with her active performance activities, her CDs of Russian works and Bach's unaccompanied works have been well received. The third CD is a collection of Brahms' three sonatas.\n\n　Yokoyama won fifth prize at the 10th International Tchaikovsky Competition with a performance of Brahms' Sonata No. 3. Kyoko Sasaki, with whom Yokoyama performed in the second round of the competition, won the Best Performer Award. This joint performance by the two friends at the peak of their maturity conveys Brahms' eyes and feelings as he approached the end of the century and the twilight of his own music.
