STABBED, an up-and-coming brutal death metal band formed in Long Island, NY in 2020, has released their first EP "Defleshed by Reptiles" on CD for the first time in the world through Dead Sky Records in Japan. The first EP "Defleshed by Reptiles" by STABBED, an up-and-coming brutal death metal band formed on the island, is now available for the first time on CD from Dead Sky Recordings in Japan. (In North America, it was released on 7" by up-and-coming death metal label Maggot Stomp.) The sound of the band covers a wide range of styles, from traditional burdeath sounds such as Defeated Sanity to NYDM styles such as Dying Fetus and Internal Bleeding, as well as elements of hardcore/punk with a d-beat twist. Some of the members have played in the power violence band Blame God and the NYHC band JAB, and their groovy development can be felt as an influence from these bands. Due to the new Corona situation, they have only played a few gigs, but they have already supported Dying Fetus at their second show in Long Island, which shows their ability and high expectations.We are very much looking forward to the future of this band, both in terms of sound sources and live performances.
