Description:
Stereo soundboard recordings of the Japan tour that defined the live style of the Double Trio, an important lineup in Crimson's history, renewed for the first time in SHM-CD, paper-jacketed 2024 mastered version! The fifth installment is the Hitomi Kinen Auditorium show, which was set between the regional shows! The Japan tour in October 1995 was an important stage in the live activities of Crimson, a six-piece band that broke the rules and appeared with the album "Slack", which lasted only two years. The now out-of-print interactive video work "Deja Vu Room" was also produced from performances during this tour. The 1995 Japan Tour, which consisted of 6 concerts in Tokyo and 5 concerts in other regions, was released on standard CD in 2018, but this time it is divided into 2 series, Tokyo and regional editions, and is the first upgraded version with SHM-CD specifications and a facing paper jacket! The sound quality of all concerts is stable, but the sound quality, etc. that varied in the previous series have been corrected and released as new 2024 masters. The three Japan tours in 1995, 2000, and 2003 were important points in determining Crimson's live style at that time, but after the TV recording, the Tokyo show #5, after the Nagoya and Osaka shows, was the first time that the live style of the six-piece Crimson band began to show changes. The Tokyo show #5, after the TV recording, Nagoya and Osaka shows, was the one where the live style of the six-piece Crimson was beginning to change. This is a precious sound recording that captures the moment when the live style of the 6-piece Crimson was finally solidifying through repeated trials and errors during the Japan tour, which was blessed with a sincere audience. This is the origin of the high-density live performance in November during the US tour that was to follow. Includes new Japanese commentary for the 2024 edition.
