Born in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) during the Soviet era, Aaronovich studied at the Conservatory of Music there before going on to conduct major orchestras and theaters in the country, where he received high acclaim. In 1975, he was invited to succeed Günter Wandt as principal conductor of the Cologne Gürzenich Orchestra. Tchaikovsky was his specialty, especially \"Swan Lake,\" which occupied a special place in his life. He first saw this ballet when he was only five years old. He was so taken by the charm of the ballet that he declared to his parents that he would become a conductor. In a Swedish TV program, Aaronovitch said, \"I was never a person who 'conducted' an orchestra. In addition to his humanistic attitude, his unpretentious, naturalistic approach and perfectionism are the hallmarks of his conducting style.This album includes excerpts from \"Swan Lake\" recorded in the studio for broadcast in 1996 (previously released on CD 93.234), as well as \"Mozartiana\" (live in 1995), which is being released for the first time. Aaronovich tends to emphasize agitated exuberance, such as the contrast between elastic tempi and intense dynamics, but \"Mozartiana\" reaffirms his classically well-formed sense of form and refined expression of elegance.\n\nNaxos Japan\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Swr Classic","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":51105745666337,"sku":"4589538819620","price":97.0,"currency_code":"BRL","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4589538819620.jpg?v=1743422219","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/en-br\/products\/4589538819620","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
