Raised in a musical family, Frumeri studied at the Stockholm College of Music, then went to Vienna to study with Emil von Sauer, and then to Paris to study with Alfred Cortot. He became active early on as a pianist and composer. This album contains four of his works. The \"Concertino\" has a gorgeous piano part, which is typical of Fulmeri, who was an excellent pianist, the \"Clarinet Concerto\" in which the solo part stands out, and the \"Music for Nine (Ninth Quartet)\" in which various instruments sing to each other. The music is very rewarding to listen to. Aruto Nakamura, who participates in the septet, was born in Canada and has been the principal second violin of the Munich Radio Orchestra since 2016.
