(Source: Cologne Radio) Accompanied by Sell, Kilebert, and Wandt! The previously unreleased live recordings of Pyneman, who is renowned as a beautiful and gifted violinist, have been released all at once. Despite her fame, there are very few recordings of Pyneman, and one CD on DG is probably all there is. Born in Mainz, Germany in 1937, Pyneman learned the violin from his father, the concertmaster of the Mainz orchestra, at the age of four. At the age of 19, he won the first prize in a competition sponsored by the German Radio (ARD) and began his international career. In the U.S., the great conductor George Sell especially appreciated Pyneman so much that he invited him to be the soloist for the Cleveland Orchestra's 1965 tour of New York's Carnegie Hall. Since then, Pyneman has worked with conductors such as Munsch, Solti, Karajan, Kilebert, Cripps, Barbirolli, Kubelik, Tennstedt, Martinon, etc. In 1972, he participated as soloist in his first tour in Japan with the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra. In the 1970s and later, he focused more on his teaching activities, which may have contributed to his lack of recordings as a performer. Therefore, this project, a collection of concerto masterpieces and masterpieces, is a release that will quench your thirst for many years to come. The style is elegant and virtuous. There is no need for superfluous effects in the performances. Beethoven is accompanied by the virtuoso cello virtuoso Sell, whom Pyneman praises as \"a true genius who is well-versed in all genres of music. This is a superb performance full of ambition that precedes the Carnegie Hall performance above. Both performers will present music that is truly sublime and noble. Prokofiev's First Symphony was performed by Vant. The conversation with the accompaniment, which is superb as only Vant, who also sharply cuts into contemporary music, can be heard. Pienemann, who had a close relationship with Kiehlbert and was instructed to \"study Pfitzner's concerto,\" made his Berlin Philharmonic debut with this piece. On this disc, we hear a Sibelius that we could never have imagined. The performance is dynamic, imposing, and superbly virtuosic. Mendelssohn, too, is the ultimate in German lyricism, and his sentimentality is both nostalgic and moving.
