Tom Misch, who is popular for his sophisticated sound that fuses jazz, electronica, soul, and hip-hop, his beautiful voice, and his stylish guitar playing that even John Mayer and Eric Clapton have recognized, has suddenly released "Quarantine Sessions", which has been officially released and is creating a buzz! The CD version is now available exclusively in Japan! Tom Misch started the project "Quarantine Sessions" in March last year during the lockdown in the UK.The video includes Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit," which he reinterpreted with his own guitar playing using a guitar and loop machine, Solange's "Cranes in the Sky," James Blake's "The Wilhelm Scream," and Brazilian pop maestro It includes cover session videos such as "Parabens," performed in collaboration with Marcos Valli, and the original song "Chain Reaction," a collaboration with his friend Jordan Rakai, which has been the talk of the town. Tom Misch spins sounds as if playing with his guitar under the special circumstances caused by the pandemic. They are the perfect music for a gorgeous, languid walk under an endless blue sky or lying in the grass under the blazing sun, calm, head-clearing, and intoxicatingly enchanting. The album, "Quarantine Sessions," includes seven songs that were previously released on Tom Misch's official YouTube channel, as well as a new song, "Missing You," all of which are being released on CD for the first time.The album artwork features warm, hand-drawn illustrations by Oliver McDonald Olds, an artist whom Tom Misch admires. The Japanese CD will include an instruction manual, and a set with an embroidered logo hoodie will also be available in limited quantities.
