23 Dutch heavy psychedelic rock band formed by Oeds Beydals of DEATH ALLEY/THE DEVIL'S BLOOD, Bob Hogenelst of BIRTH OF JOY, Wout Kemkens of SHAKING GODSPEED, and others. The debut album of this Dutch heavy psychedelic rock band. The band is based on ODES BEYDALS' IRON CHIN, which was formed by Wout, Ries Doms, Job van de Zande, and others under the leadership of Oeds as a special collaboration band at the Roadburn Festival held annually in the Netherlands. After the songwriting process that began during the lockdown, the band has completed this album, which also reflects contemporary social conditions such as people's isolation and fears. The band's unique heavy psychedelic sound is accented with elements of occultism reminiscent of THE DEVIL'S BLOOD, with which ODES was a member, while also demonstrating a diversity that straddles genres from progressive rock to avant-garde to chamber music.The song starts with "Winding World," which leaves a strong impression with its melancholic melody with a relaxed floating feeling, while the insanely scratching guitars and pitch-bend bass synths stir up uneasiness. The driving bass riffs and the mechanical guitar solo in the latter half of the song show similarities with prog rock, and the abstract ending leaves a bewitching aftertaste. This is an artistic work that leaves one in awe of its unique and avant-garde musicality, no matter where one focuses one's attention.
