The '22 album by a composer/multi-musician from Canada who has been active mainly in TV/Film Music since the 80's is now available! The band's debut is a conceptual melodic/art-rock album based on fantastic themes influenced by 70's British progressive rock bands such as GENESIS, THE MOODY BLUES, PINK FLOYD, etc. The album features whispering vocals that seem to echo from beyond the fog and a strong sense of melodicism. The cover art is the best of the band's history, with whispering vocals and string synths that seem to echo from beyond the fog, creating an ethereal atmosphere/worldview that is just like the cover art. The album also features a variety of instruments such as flute, cello, and tabla, and a trad/world tone, as well as an emotional, weeping electric guitar solo directly from Gilmour, which hits all the melodic rock fans' buttons. It is a great work that stands out for its soundtrack-like expanse and storytelling, which is reminiscent of his origins!
