Analog reissue of the 1967 album by a minor beat and garage group from Colombia! Released on the !DISCOS FUENTES label, this is their second and final album, skillfully covering popular artists worldwide, including the Yardbirds, Raiders, Rolling Stones, Byrds, Hunters and Easybeats. After releasing a four-song EP and a full-length album on the ESTUDIO 15 label, THE AMPEX quickly gained a large fan base in Colombia, where they were also the studio musicians that local pop stars turned to for live performances and recording sessions. The band was a huge hit, but the beat sound did not catch on in Colombia, and the band members eventually gave up on their music career early. This album was recorded just before they broke up. This is a good album filled with dry and wild garage rock!
