The sound quality is also quite high for a recording of that era; in particular, the Sixth Symphony, produced by Karshaw, features a vivid sound despite being in mono.

CD1
■ Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 6 in B minor, Op. 74, “Pathétique” [44:13]
I Adagio – Allegro non troppo 18:43
II Allegro con grazia 7:44
III Allegro molto vivace 9:06
IV Finale: Adagio lamentoso 8:40

Erich Kleiber, conductor; Orchestre de l’École Normale de Musique de Paris

Mono recording made in 1953 at the Maison de la Mutualité, Paris
Producer: John Calshaw

CD2
■ Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 4 in F minor, Op. 36 [39:45]
I Andante sostenuto – Moderato con anima 17:19
II Andantino in modo di canzone 8:10
III Scherzo: Pizzicato ostinato 5:20
IV Finale: Allegro con fuoco 8:56

Erich Kleiber, conductor; Orchestre du Conservatoire de Paris

Mono recording made in 1950 at the Maison de la Mutualité, Paris
Producer: Victor Olof

Tracklisting:

1.Symphony no 6 in B minor, Op. 74 "PathＵique"
2.Symphony no 4 in F minor, Op. 36
