He has been active in a variety of styles, including improvised music, and one of his best-known works is the one-act opera \"Somebody's Coming\" (Aurora ACD5043), based on a play by Jon Fosse, who was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2023.\n\n\n\nmultiMORF V, multiMORF VI, and multiMORF VII, featuring brass instruments, electronics, and light design, are developments of the \"multiMORF\" series (2007-13) in collaboration with sound designer Torolf Teuesta. This series started with simple questions from Pablo Neruda's \"The Book of Questions\" such as \"If I die and do not know it, who should I ask about the time?\", \"Where should a blind man chased by bees live?\", and \"If the color yellow is gone, what will I make bread with? Based on these questions, \"sounds\" were created by expanding the images in various ways.\n\n\n\nTorolf Teuester studied at the Utrecht School of the Arts, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and the Grieg Academy. He is a member of the contemporary music ensemble \"BIT20\" and works as a composer, sound designer, and kinetic sculptor.\n\n\n\nThe Nynorsk Brass Quintet has premiered 49 works since 2016 and was named Best Performer of the Year by the Norwegian Society of Composers in 2021. Cecilie Aure's \"Hottentot!
