This album includes the Overture to \"Hiawatha,\" one of a series of works based on an episode of \"Hiawatha\" (a 16th century Mohawk Indian warrior) that fascinated him, the Suite \"Otello,\" which includes the emotional \"Song of the Willows,\" four waltzes, and many other works that make the most of Coleridge-Taylor's extraordinary talent.
