Description:

The year 1939 was an important milestone in European history. In September of that year, Nazi Germany invaded Poland and World War II broke out. Of course, even before that, the social situation was unstable and people's hearts were in turmoil. This album contains three works for violin and orchestra composed in that year, and it is a unique album that explores the feelings of these three composers: Walton with his hidden anxiety, Hartmann with his sorrowful expression and anger, and Bartók with his high singing of nationalistic elements. The violin soloist, Fabian Fabio, is a master of the instrument. Fabiola Kim, the violin soloist, is a female player who was acclaimed by the New York Times as "a superb soloist of extraordinary accuracy. Fabiola Kim is a remarkable young player who is active mainly in Europe. Naxos Japan
