Once again, we did not reuse old source material; instead, we brought the tapes to a recording studio and remastered the entire process using professional-grade equipment to completely revitalize the sound quality. We are confident this is, without a doubt, the best sound quality we’ve ever achieved. While the sound has a dry quality, the overall balance and clarity far surpass those of the 1949 live recording from the same venue—a real treat for fans. The “Leonore” Overture No. 2 makes its debut in this series. As with the Brahms recordings, you can fully savor the mature sound of Furtwängler and the Berlin Philharmonic in their final years.\n\n*Note\nIn the “Leonore” Overture No. 2, ghosting is particularly noticeable during the longer passages. This is a form of degradation that often occurs on old tapes; however, attempting to remove it too aggressively during mastering can negatively affect sound quality, so on this disc, such corrections have been kept to the absolute minimum. We appreciate your understanding.\n(Naoya Hirabayashi)\nKing International\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Grand Slam","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":53595611267361,"sku":"4573686060683","price":22.95,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4573686060683.jpg?v=1790481917","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/en-be\/products\/4573686060683","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
