Greene, anticipating his own departure at some point, wanted the band to have a lasting identity after his involvement, so he named the band \"Fleetwood Mac\" after them. With the addition of two talented guitarists, Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwan, the band quickly gained attention for their sophisticated blues playing. They went on to produce some highly successful rock classics and instrumentals, but Greene left the band in May 1970.\n\n\n\nThis is the second album \"Mr. Wonderful\" (released in the UK in 1968). The young band's passion for the authentic blues, which is expressed in the effective use of a horn section, is tremendous. Peter Green, who delivers emotionally rich guitar solos, is also in great form as a singer. Jeremy Spencer's dynamic slide guitar, another of the band's signatures, can also be fully appreciated.
