Alma Deutscher

Description:

A portrait of Alma Deutscher, a child prodigy who is the second coming of Mozart in the 21st century, composed between the ages of 4 and 14. Composer, violinist, and pianist Alma Deutscher was born in 2005 in Basingstoke, Hampshire, England. Her parents, a university professor and linguist, are both amateur musicians. Alma was moved by R. Strauss's "Lullaby" when she heard it at the age of three, and at the age of four she began to form various melodies in her head. At the age of nine, he wrote a violin concerto, and at twelve, a piano concerto, each of which he premiered as soloist. She likes Mozart, Schubert, Tchaikovsky, and other composers with beautiful melodies and harmonies, but she is also interested in female composers such as Fanny Mendelssohn, who wanted to be a musician, and Nannerl, Mozart's sister. She says, "I want to change the world the way Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin changed the world." She has already been called "the second coming of Mozart" and is highly acclaimed. In August 2018, he made his debut as composer, violinist, and pianist at the Lucerne Festival, playing his own compositions as well as Bach partitas and Scarlatti sonatas. She has performed with members of the Vienna Philharmonic on a cruise through northern Europe and performed her own opera "Cinderella" in the U.S., Austria, and Israel, where the video product was an explosive hit. This album is a collection of songs she composed between the ages of 4 and 14. I started hearing melodies in my head when I was four years old," she says. I took them as songs from my imaginary country called 'Transylvania. At first I could not write them down, so I played these on the piano and my parents sometimes recorded them, but once I was able to score them, I immediately started writing down the melodies so I would not forget them. For this album, I chose one melody from each year of my life, from age 4 to 14," she said. Alma writes her melodies down in a sketchbook she calls "My Melody Book," which she carries with her wherever she goes.Alma's beautiful, romantic, and easy listening pieces are filled with her imagination, insight, and prodigy spirit.
