For the fantastical \"Express Delivery of Starlight,\" written at Severn House in London, the birthplace of many masterpieces, Andrew Davies used a new score published by the Elgar Society in 2010, and this is the world premiere recording of a performance based on this edition.Also recorded for the first time in the world are Clive Carey's (1883-1968) \"Three Songs,\" which was originally commissioned as incidental music but was interrupted by World War I and never included in Elgar's edition, and Elgar's \"Suite Version,\" arranged by Andruw Davis!
