The first collection contains 27 freely selected pieces from the 10-volume \"Lyric Pieces,\" which consists of 66 pieces.Peter Donohoe, who has a unique background as a percussionist in his youth, studied piano in Paris with Yvonne Loriot and Olivier Messiaen, and won a prize at the Leeds International Competition in 1981 and the highest prize at the Tchaikovsky International Competition in 1982.
