The RPC series includes Amran's Piano Concerto No. 1, Taniel's Piano Concertos Nos. 2 and 3, Hough's Piano Concerto No. 4, and the soloist's Piano Concerto No. 5, Hough's Piano Concerto No. 6, and Hough's Piano Concerto No. 7. Alexander Markovic, making his Chandos debut, was born into a musical family in 1964, entered the Gnesin Music School at age 6, and won the Prague Youth Radio Competition at age 13. At the age of 13, he won the Prague Youth Radio Competition. He studied piano and conducting at the Moscow Conservatory, immigrated to Israel, and has performed in the U.S. and Canada, as well as in Japan and many European countries. On recordings, he is known as an accompaniment partner for Sergei Nakariakov, David Garrett, and Vadim Repin. And look out for the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, also making its Chandos debut.Nämé Järvi, the elder of the Estonian music family, has been the Music Director and Chief Conductor of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra since 2010. He was also the Chief Conductor in the 1960s and 1970s, and was involved as a percussionist while a student at the Tallinn Conservatory, a relationship that spans over half a century. The piano concerto by Charvenka, whose heroic and passionate orchestration is one of its charms, is also very exciting to hear how it will sound under the baton of his father, Järvi!
