Description:

Following the Grammy-nominated album "Flute Mystery" (2L58SABD), this is a collection of works by Flint Huventino Beppe (formerly known as Fredo Yonny Berg). The session with the Philharmonia Orchestra, conducted by Vladimir Ashkenazy, was held at the Coliseum in Watford, and included a performance by the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra's principal flutist, Emily Beynon (1969-), who played the solo in the Flute Concerto No. 1 featured in "Flute Mystery," as well as the flute concerto by the Philharmonia Orchestra. The album also includes the Flute Concerto No. 2, dedicated to Emily Bynon (1969-), principal flute of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, who played the solo in the Flute Concerto No. 1 featured in "Flute Mystery", with a large orchestra including an organ. The common concept of the five works on this album is "distance. Melody, harmony, and brightly colored orchestration. The music invites the listener to "far away" in time and space, as if to come close to the listener.Ralph Rousseau, a Dutch viola da gamba player, performed "Far Away Galaxy" with an orchestra that also included a glass harmonica. The glass harmonica is an instrument invented by Benjamin Franklin, known for his invention of the lightning rod, and has a mysterious sound that is produced by turning a glass plate and rubbing it with the fingers. Mark Van de Veer, principal clarinetist of the Philharmonia Orchestra and the London Sinfonietta, solos in "Distant Words. Lost in September," written in the wake of the loss of his "good friend" dog, Lady Bessie. The "autobiographical" "Walking on a Tightrope Under Heaven," which evokes the image of a man crossing over a high wire, with a thin smile on his face as if taunting him. And now, 2L, which has been attracting attention from music fans and audiophiles alike as an excellent recording label, has once again come up with a recording that demonstrates its capabilities.Recorded in 9.1 channel, which is 5.1 surround plus 4 channels for the "height" component, the original recording was mixed down to 5.1 DTS-HD MA, 7.1 DTSHDMA, 2.0 LPCM, and 9.1 Auro-3D for playback on equipment equipped with an Auro-decoder. in four formats on this Blu-ray Disc Audio.
