This album commemorates the 50th anniversary of the musical career of Lars Hannibal, who has been active as a guitarist, lutenist, composer, and arranger. Focusing on his duo with his longtime partner Mikala Petri on the recorder, the album features original works that evoke the beauty and harshness of Danish nature and the kindness of the people, as well as arrangements of songs by Danish composers, all of which are easy to listen to. In the three original songs written in the style of folk songs, their second daughter, Amalie, sings softly and beautifully, and their eldest daughter, Auniete, plays the cello, which she has been learning for two years.
