John Hiatt was born in 1952 in Indianapolis, Indiana, and made his debut in 1974. However, in 1987, he released "Bring the Family," which became a big hit and established him as one of the most popular singer-songwriters of the 1980s. He continued to have hit after hit after hit, including "Slow Turning," and became one of the top stars of the decade. This is a compilation of his recordings from 1987 to 1994, when he was a member of A&M.It also includes a solid collection of hit songs from "Bring the Family" and "Slow Turning". This is a 2-CD set with a total of 36 songs, a generous amount of material to enjoy.
