After the death of his father in 1975, Acedo drowned his sorrows by immersing himself in music. He spent most of his adolescence at the Tucson Public Library, where he grew up listening to Ravi Shankar and Led Zeppelin records. Around this time, Acedo purchased a guitar, and it was during these high school years that he began to experiment with odd tunings on the guitar, and his style began to develop.\n\n\n\nThis album was released in 1985 on the PYKNOTIC label on a limited basis, and was reissued on CD by CAMERA OBSCURA in 2000, but was soon discontinued.Sophisticated yet noble and avant-garde fuzz guitar, oriental-oriented compositions, chanting, and horns inserted here and there... the band has created a psychedelic music of great originality.
