Love Is Noise is the new project of Cam Humphrey, whose lush sound blends influences from indie rock, metal, and post-punk. The band's name is taken from the song "Love Is Noise" from THE VERVE's album "Forth" (2008), a rising star in the UK alternative scene. Cameron says their highly anticipated debut album, To Live In A Different Way, will be something special. It's the story of a kid in Bolton trying to make sense of the world he lives in. It contains 11 songs filled with love, heartache, and dreamy melodies. Produced with recently departed guitarist Tom Mellon (who left the band after recording this album) and engineer Kel Pinchin, the band was conscious of making the record sound like a live band, mistakes and all.In an age where perfection is so prized, we wanted to do the exact opposite, and we challenged ourselves head-on to make this the kind of work that our idols were aiming for."
