The first world tour in 10 years started in September 1987, right after the release of the new Pink Floyd's 16th album \"Depression\/A Momentary Lapse of Reason\" (multi-platinum), and the band toured the world, including Japan, until July 1989. The tour lasted approximately two years, with a total of 198 concerts and 4.25 million people in attendance.\" It was a legendary tour that was a great success and was called \"a great spectacle show of light and sound.
