Formed in London in 1968 by Chris Squire and John Anderson, this progressive rock band led the progressive rock boom of the 1970s, producing numerous classic albums and being called one of the five greatest progressive rock bands along with Pink Floyd, King Crimson, EL&P, and Genesis. They are called the "Five Great Progressive Rock Bands" along with Pink Floyd, King Crimson, EL&P, and Genesis, and are a legendary band that has had a major impact on rock history.
This is their 23rd original album, released just one year and seven months after "The Quest" in October 2021, their first album in seven years. This is the first album after Alan White passed away in July 2022, seven months after the release of the previous album, and Jay Shellen, a support member, became the third drummer of the band. The producer is Steve Howe, as on the previous album. The cover artwork is by Roger Dean. Like the previous album, FAME'S Orchestra was used for this album, and magnificent strings can be heard on several songs including the title track.
