Excerpts from the commentary
In 1967, The Rolling Stones, despite being a monster hit band with 11 top 5 songs in the UK and 10 top 10 songs in the US since 1964, were labeled as outrageous troublemakers, junkies, womanizers, misogynists, and sociopaths. They were also labeled as "problematic," "junkies," "womanizers," "misogynists," and "sociopaths. Perhaps it was the strategy of manager Andrew Loog Oldham, but the band never showed the slightest inclination to flirt with the establishment, and because of this image, they never received the same musical acclaim as the Beatles. However, "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" grabbed the hearts of frustrated young delinquents who were numb to the noise of electric guitars, turning their concerts into riots and changing the world with its influence. This album is a collection of cover songs from the same period from 1965 to 1967.
